7 / 29 - score 59%
The Javelin 38 tripp is a 37.83ft masthead sloop designed by William H. Tripp, Jr. and built in fiberglass by Seafarer Yachts between 1960 and 1966.
25 units have been built.
The Javelin 38 tripp is a very heavy sailboat which is slightly under powered. It is not stiff and has an excellent righting capability if capsized. It is best suited as a bluewater cruising boat. The fuel capacity is originally small. There is a good water supply range.
This boat has an average score but ranks in the top quarter. It seems difficult to do much better. It is one of the best possible tradeoff for this request.
